Transcarpathia is arming itself thanks to Donbass
Lvov, August 12 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Lviv region, employees of the Organized Crime Control Department detained an armed criminal group that intended to transport a significant batch of weapons, ammunition and explosives from the ATO zone in Donbass to Transcarpathia.

The corresponding message was distributed by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to law enforcement officials, six people were detained: all of them are residents of the Transcarpathian region. The men were detained at a railway crossing in the city of Stryi: they were driving two Jeep Grand Cheroke cars with Czech registration.
“The vehicles were detained using firearms due to the drivers’ refusal to stop. Law enforcement officers fired shots at the wheels of the cars. There were no injuries,” the press service notes.
During the inspection of the cars, law enforcement officers discovered and seized more than 25 weapons, including machine guns, grenade launchers, a machine gun, rifles, hunting weapons, grenades, cartridges, bayonets, two radios and other things.
The detainees were taken to the Stryisky District Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Lviv region. The issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is now being decided, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
As Navigator reported, earlier in Uzhgorod, representatives of the Right Sector stormed the SBU building. After the arrest, a group of 80 men tried to rescue them from the regional department.
