Transcarpathian governor announces repressions against Hungarians
Based on the results of the searches, the regional prosecutor's office is preparing to hand over suspicion to the leader of the Transcarpathian Hungarian Party Vasily Brenzovchiu.
The head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration, Alexey Petrov, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in an interview with Ukrainform.
“Currently, examinations are being carried out based on the results of the searches. I held a meeting with law enforcement officials - they are sure that there will be suspicion. I emphasized this immediately after the scandal: if you caused such a resonance, then you will be responsible for your actions,” Petrov said.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said he would complain to NATO because of the searches that the SBU carried out in Transcarpathia on the leader of the Hungarian community Vasily Brenzovich, as well as in a number of organizations associated with the community.
In addition, ex-governor of Transcarpathia Gennady Moskal said about the “golden share” of Transcarpathian Hungarians and revealed the background of the SBU raid.
