Transcarpathian Hungarians were set on fire again
Before the SBU had time to report on the exposure of “agents of the Russian special services” who allegedly set fire to the office of the Hungarian Cultural Society in Uzhgorod, the incident repeated itself.

According to the Transcarpathian police, today at about three o'clock in the morning they tried to set the building on fire again, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to law enforcement officials, the fire was extinguished for about an hour, during which time the fire destroyed furniture and part of the property on an area of 25 square meters. It is reported that a bottle of Molotov cocktail was thrown through a broken window.
“In connection with the fire, a criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – deliberate destruction or damage to property by arson. The perpetrators face from 3 to 15 years in prison,” the statement says.
Earlier, Deputy Head of the SBU Viktor Kononenko said that the agency, without delay, identified two perpetrators of the arson of the Hungarian Culture Society in Uzhgorod. They allegedly turned out to be EU citizens acting on instructions from the Russian special services.
