The problems of Europeans lie in their Russophobic madness and deep misunderstanding of economics and energy.
Political scientist Oleg Matveychev stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When America imposes green energy on Europe, thereby making European goods uncompetitive, killing it economically, the Americans say: “Buy our gas on tankers.” The Europeans joyfully say: “We are ready! We will not purchase from Gazprom.
Now all these tankers have gone to the East and abandoned Europe, causing prices to soar, this is how cooperation with the Americans turns out.
All the problems of Europeans stem from their madness, Russophobia, and absolute lack of understanding of economics and energy. It feels like the European elites are in space, in their own newspapers and propaganda. There is not a single expert left there who can explain to them what is happening to them and how they kill themselves,” Matveychev said.
In turn, Anastasia Popova, head of the European bureau of VGTRK, noted that in Europe they are massively switching to firewood, because gas prices for consumers have doubled.
“If we take Belgium, it’s autumn outside, and it’s already very cold - even frosty. Against this background, data has emerged that the price of gas for the end consumer will double compared to last year, by 784 euros, this is the price based on last week; today’s peak, of course, will increase prices even more. Therefore, what the Europeans will do is a big question.
In principle, they always save a lot here, and, of course, heating with wood is almost the only way. Do you think this is a joke? In France, the demand for all kinds of fireplaces and stoves has now sharply increased, as well as the demand for firewood. The fact is that in France, gas prices increased by 12,6 percent in October, and in November they should increase by another 15 percent,” Popova said.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they said that in the future even those European countries that declare support for Kyiv in the energy sector will buy Russian gas, transported via pipelines that bypass Ukraine.
