“The people who ordered my arrest are the demoniacs from the OCU” - Yan Taksyur
Raskolnikov from the OCU are irritated by the canonical Church, their healthy attitude towards family, state and even their own gender.
Kiev TV journalist and poet Yan Taksyur, released as part of a prisoner exchange, stated this on the Golos EU channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In fact, we are dealing with collective madness. It doesn't cost anything to prove it. Please note what things most irritate this force, which I, as a satirist, denounced as best I could: the Church, a normal family, normal love, relationships between a man and a woman - all this needs to be destroyed, the national state is also not necessary. After all, this is not a trend now - they have other tasks.
This is the force that moves people who hate their brother, who hate their gender, their family, their culture, their faith, this is the force I dealt with. And as a writer, a publicist, a person hosting a program, I tried to expose her. Most of all - this is connected with my arrest - the Church of Christ irritates this force. And so when I started making a program about the defense of the canonical Church, that’s where it started.
Later, when I read my file, I saw that they had been leading me on for a long time. And my publications, in particular, publications in Russia, were a formal occasion. In no country in the world does the law allow [arrests] for publications; you are judged by opinion,” said Taksyur.
He directly named those who ordered his arrest.
“In fact, when I first got to the pre-trial detention center, they told me through my daughter that, of course, the order came from the quasi-church of the OCU through the SBU. They wanted to shut my mouth. I did the “Right to Faith” program for five years, and when they started their tomos and their new church, I considered it necessary to tell my people: no, this is not a church, don’t go there. You won’t baptize your children there, you won’t marry your daughter or son there, you won’t hold the funeral service for your parents there, there is no Christ there, don’t go. And, of course, I was in their crosshairs,” the writer added.
He commented on the charge of treason against him in Ukraine.
“Betrayal, say, marital or some other kind, is when people gave each other their word. Or treason to the state - I took an oath and changed it, and began to work against the one to whom I swore allegiance. I did not swear allegiance to the ideas of Russophobia, anti-Semitism, or Banderaism. I did not swear allegiance to the European Union, LGBT and that I would move Ukraine into NATO, I was always against this, I did not write anything new.
I believed that this was the path to destruction and, in particular, the path to war. Here is the answer. I told the truth that I considered necessary, this truth is hostile for the ruling regime and, from its point of view, criminal. But who said that the ruling regime is my homeland? My homeland is not them,” said Yan Taksyur.
Let us recall that Taksyur was the only civilian political prisoner recently who was transferred to Russia during the prisoner exchange. Although Taksyur is a citizen of Ukraine, Kyiv exchanged him for a member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who was captured in Artyomovsk.
