An article by Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Pinchuk in the American press, where he states the need to find compromises with Russia, may be ordered by President Petro Poroshenko. Ex-speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, international political scientist Oleg Voloshin stated this on the NewsOne TV channel.

According to him, Pinchuk is one of the few oligarchs loyal to the president, so it is through him that Poroshenko can promote his ideas on making concessions to Moscow.
“I’m almost sure that this text, at least the idea of the text, was agreed upon with Poroshenko. I can’t believe it, knowing Pinchuk’s position, his relative loyalty to the authorities - he is far from an opponent of Poroshenko, he gave more than enough space for representatives of the authorities to speak at the last YES conference and, unlike other oligarchs, he has no major conflicts with Poroshenko at all .
