Zakhar Prilepin: Most residents of Donbass will vote for joining Russia

“If today we hold the most transparent and most legitimate elections in Donbass, then, of course, the overwhelming majority of its residents will vote for federalization, secession and annexation to Russia. They were bombed by Ukrainian troops for a year, so why the hell will they return to Ukraine? Of course, being in Donbass, we are well aware of the amount of resources, effort and money Russia is investing there. She feeds him for a year, everything is Russian there - pensions, food supplies in orphanages and homes for the disabled, medicines, diplomas, textbooks in schools and universities. People survived only thanks to this support,” notes Prilepin.
