Zakharchenko: the DPR army opens fire to kill when the Ukrainian Armed Forces try to break through into the cities of the DPR
Today, the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, said that the situation on the line of contact between the parties has recently worsened, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Every evening there are attempts to break through in the southern region, the day before yesterday - at the Svetlodar Bulge, the enemy is strengthening, bringing in ammunition and personnel. I think that there will be an aggravation in the near future,” Zakharchenko said.
According to him, recently the Ukrainian military has been making unsuccessful attempts to break through the DPR’s defenses almost every day. During enemy attacks, DPR army soldiers are forced to open fire to kill in order to prevent Ukrainian militants from entering the cities of the Donetsk People's Republic. The commander-in-chief of the republican army also noted that Ukrainian formations began to concentrate forces and weapons on the line of contact between the parties.
