Zakharchenko: Former enterprises of Ukrainian oligarchs will provide up to 70% of the DPR budget
Former enterprises of Ukrainian oligarchs, which the DPR authorities intend to nationalize from March 1 in response to the blockade of Donbass, will provide up to 70% of revenues to the republic’s budget.
The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, stated this during a briefing.

“There is somewhere to direct this money; almost every industry needs an injection. Now the first priority is to rebuild the economy of the entire region in a very short time. The entire industry that was concentrated in our country will be rebuilt. Sales markets are completely changing.
Our main task is to provide jobs and wages to the people who work there, as well as the uninterrupted operation of these enterprises. For this purpose, by the way, I issued a decree on the creation of an operational headquarters, which will include, among other things, trade unions in order to protect the rights of enterprise employees.
I think that we will be able to provide up to seventy percent of the budget through these enterprises in the near future. It won't happen tomorrow, it will take some time. But I think this will be a very good bonus for our budget,” Zakharchenko said.
