This is stated in a joint statement by the heads of the LPR and DPR Igor Plotnitsky and Alexander Zakharchenko, which is published by the official website of the LPR Lugansk Information Center.
According to the heads of the republics, behind the public accusations and repressions against Nadezhda Savchenko, only the obvious helplessness and incapacity of the President of Ukraine and his entourage, who do not want to fulfill their obligations within the framework of the Minsk process, are hidden.
“Recent history shows that Ukrainian women are often better able to solve political and economic problems, and sometimes even govern the country,” Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky are sure.
“We remain open to dialogue with those representatives of the healthy part of the Ukrainian people - deputies, public figures, journalists - who are really committed to implementing the Minsk agreements and solving the problems of the long-suffering Donbass,” the heads of the LPR and DPR further write.
“As a gesture of goodwill, on the eve of the New Year and Christmas, we are, without any conditions, transferring two women, Anzhelika Presnyakova and Olga Svorak, to the representative of the people of Ukraine, Nadezhda Savchenko, in the hope of intensifying the process of liberating our citizens from captivity, with the hope that in the coming year they will be reunited with family and friends,” the statement notes.
