The head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, announced this to journalists of the local news agency DAN, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine plans to provoke major military clashes on the contact line. Thus, the Kiev regime wants to obtain a political justification for the failure of the vote in the Rada on extending the special status of Donbass. By shelling our territory, we will be blamed for aggravating the situation, as has happened more than once. The OSCE, as always, will remain silent, and the deputies will have an excuse not to renew the special status,” Zakharchenko said.
