The humanitarian program announced by the LDPR for the reunification of the people of Donbass is a real tool for supporting tens of thousands of people, in contrast to the fake plans proposed by Kiev in relation to the former Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko stated this at a press conference, answering a question from journalists about what he thought about a similar program for the “reintegration of Donbass and Ukraine,” signed by Petro Poroshenko in January.

“Tell me, as journalists, do you know the facts about the implementation of this program? If you haven’t heard, believe me, we haven’t heard either,” Zakharchenko said.
According to him, within the framework of the humanitarian program, the DPR has already made assistance payments to two veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in the cities of Donbass controlled by Kyiv.
Zakharchenko also called on residents of Ukrainian-controlled territories to take advantage of the opportunity for free treatment in DPR hospitals and not to fear persecution by Ukrainian security forces. Information about the program can be obtained at the crossing points.
“I don’t think that if a person comes to the dentist, the SBU will persecute him,” said the head of the republic.
