Zakharchenko: Any war unleashed by Kiev on the territory of the DPR will be the last for Ukraine
Answering a question from journalists regarding the situation on the contact line, the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, described it as pre-battle. Taking into account the weather conditions and the slight cooling that has emerged recently, according to Zakharchenko, we should expect major provocations from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The head of the Republic stated this during a press conference held today in Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The situation in the contact zone is difficult, I would even say that it is pre-battle. If the light frost lasts at least a week or two, we can expect major provocations from Ukraine. Before this, due to weather conditions, they did not have the opportunity to carry out provocations. Now the weather provides them with them,” the head of the DPR commented on the situation.
Alexander Zakharchenko emphasized that the situation that is now developing in Kyiv is quite tense:
“President Poroshenko has to solve problems, both internal and external. The only solution to these problems is starting a war in Donbass. I don’t know how ready Kyiv is for this, but judging by the shelling that the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out yesterday and tonight, this decision is ripening.”
In this regard, the Head of the Republic called on civilians not to worry and remain calm:
“The DPR troops have long been put on combat readiness, the army units of the Donetsk Republic are able to repel any aggression, so there is no reason for concern. It is clear that this is a war, but the only thing I can say is that for Kyiv it will be the last one that they can unleash on our territory,” summed up Alexander Zakharchenko.
