According to the DPR press service, Zakharchenko “issued Decree No. 2 of November 4, 2014 on assignment to Strelkov Igor Ivanovich and Boroday Alexander Yurievich the title of Hero of the Donetsk People's Republic and awarding them the gold Star of the Hero for their great contribution to the education, formation and defense of the Donetsk People's Republic."
In addition, Zakharchenko awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the Donetsk People's Republic to Vladimir Yurievich Antyufeyev", known not only as the Deputy Prime Minister of the DPR, but also as the ex-head of the KGB of Transnistria.
Also, information appeared in the media that Russian actor Mikhail Porechenkov was awarded the title of People's Artist of the DPR.
