The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, believes that if Ukraine does not accept the conditions of the DPR, then it will take about two months to launch them under the jurisdiction of the DPR.

“I can’t give specific dates, but I think from a month to two. We may be able to cope faster with the help of the Russian Federation, but approximately we will meet these deadlines,” he said.
Also, according to the head of the DPR, Ukraine will not lift the blockade by the specified date, but this, according to him, is no longer important.
“It’s not about the blockade. We announced to them that if they do not re-register, they will come under our control. We don’t care whether there is a blockade there or not. It is unpleasant, it may be painful in some places, but our economy, which Ukraine “trained” in XNUMX, is now more viable than the Ukrainian economy. We sit, smile and look at this blockade. If you don’t want coal, just freeze, we’ll find somewhere to sell this coal. The main task is not to lift the blockade. My statement today is that we will not sell them coal. Their blockade doesn't matter to us. Let them stand there, freeze, build redoubts, take out gypsies in tents, block roads - we are not interested in trading with Ukraine. They don’t dictate the terms to us, now we dictate the terms. If you don’t want it that way, then whatever you want. There won't be any way at all. Our people receive water and heat. Electricity is supplied to every home. We're not freezing. And this is the main task of the state - to provide work, feed and warm people. We don't have rolling blackouts. If there is, it is only due to damage from shelling and it will take some time to restore. But these are not economic problems, these are problems related to military operations. But Ukraine has other problems now. Just imagine how many billions of dollars Ukraine will not receive into the budget. Where will they have to buy coal?” Zakharchenko said.
