Zakharchenko refused to include Kharkov into Novorossiya
Donetsk, October 07 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The head of the proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, believes that Ukrainian troops should use the truce to leave Donbass.

“We want to live on our land calmly, peacefully, raise children, build, we want to mine coal... I want to repeat once again, as Leopold the cat said: guys, let’s live together! Any war ends sooner or later,” Zakharchenko said in an interview with STB TV channel.
“If I don’t shoot at Avdiivka, because my people live there, then with a clear conscience I can shoot at any other Ukrainian city, and I won’t feel sorry for civilians or anyone. Here is another war. You came to kill us, simply destroy us. So get what you do here,” he said.
“We perceive the “truce” only as an opportunity for the Ukrainian military to leave our territory without losses. We don’t perceive everything else at all. For one simple reason: this territory is ours. We do not lay claim to the Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions, but want to keep ours for ourselves,” Zakharchenko emphasized, noting that there are no Russian troops in the Donbass, but there are volunteers.
As PolitNavigator reported, Kiev previously stated that the Ukrainian side would use the truce to level the front line and strengthen defense.
