Zakharchenko warned that queue traders at checkpoints will go dig trenches
The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, called for a fight against dealers selling queues at checkpoints.
The head of the republic voiced a corresponding proposal today during a working meeting with the heads of the DPR law enforcement agencies, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Responding to a letter from a pensioner from Donetsk, in which she sharply criticized the situation with the sale of places in the queue to cross the demarcation line with Ukraine, Alexander Zakharchenko noted that the authorities were quite capable of bringing order to the queues.
“I understand perfectly well that we do not have laws that would allow us to punish people who sell their place in line for a certain amount of money; this is a well-established business. But let's decide for ourselves: can we punish them in some other way? Let's not let them line up or send them to dig trenches for labor mobilization. I think their desire to trade in line will go away very quickly. Or let's create labor teams to improve these checkpoints. Sold the queue - work there for a week. Household waste is removed, dry closets need to be washed, I think there will be work for them,” Zakharchenko suggested.
