“I’ll be honest, I no longer understand with whom I will have to negotiate. “I no longer want to understand people who promise and do not fulfill their obligations,” he said, answering the question whether negotiations are expected to continue in the Minsk format.
“Now I can say that all the agreements on Minsk have been thwarted, we are undergoing severe military operations, all the blame lies with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the government of Ukraine. We are ready for any conversations, we are people who do not want war,” Zakharchenko emphasized.
“I officially invite Petro Poroshenko to the Donetsk airport, he is the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he is the president of Ukraine and, as the first person, he is obliged to think about his people. Therefore, I invite him, I am ready to talk with him about any things in order to stop this massacre. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are simply unrealistic; yesterday, in the Nikishino area alone, about 5 tanks and 4 vehicles with manpower were destroyed, you understand how many people died. If he is a man who is not afraid and is the president, let him come, we will talk. We’ll sit down at the negotiating table right in the new terminal, drink tea and talk, let him see what he’s done.
