“These conversations irritate me. Those who say this do not see Donbass’s own will, do not see the opportunity to make decisions in Donetsk. They think that the fate of Donbass is being decided somewhere outside its borders - in Moscow, Washington, Berlin and Paris.
Do you yourself agree with this? We expressed our will at the referendum. And they confirmed this will in the elections a year ago. We defended our right to decide our own destiny with arms in hand.
I personally do not intend to be a puppet in someone's hands. I hope that my fellow countrymen and comrades in arms and labor will not want to become puppets whose strings are pulled by other people’s “uncles.”
This will be my answer to all those who whine about the “drain” of Donbass. Can't wait!
