Zakharchenko told how European lace panties turned out for Ukraine
One of the residents of Donbass, living in territory controlled by Kyiv and calling the “direct line with the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, expressed skepticism about the socio-economic prospects of the republic and asked how the DPR plans to develop in such conditions.

“I’m not angry about this question, but, firstly, I would like to recall one quote from the famous movie “Heart of a Dog,” paraphrasing it a little: “If you want to be healthy, don’t read the Ukrainian press in the morning.” Our universities are actually overcrowded; people come to study with us, including from the territories of Ukraine: from Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kyiv. Our diplomas and documents are recognized by the Russian Federation. Yes, many enterprises are closed today, but the question is: who closed them? They were closed in 2014 when their owners fled, including to Ukraine. But we were very lucky. All the scum that lived with us left for the territory of Ukraine, and we actually cleansed ourselves,” said the head of the republic.
He also said that despite difficult times, enterprises are opening in the DPR.
“We recently opened a brewery that had been standing for 2,5 years. Today more than 200 people work there. We have prospects. We pay salaries, we pay pensions, we fulfill all social obligations that the state must fulfill, unlike Ukraine. But what prospects do Ukrainian youth see? There are no jobs, the economy has ceased to exist. The country, which used to be a powerful industrial power, is turning into something unknown, enterprises are closing. 1.5 million people left for Poland. I remember that one girl there shouted that she wanted to buy lace lingerie in Europe, but in the end she lives in Russia and does not dream of anything like that. You know, if the dream of Ukrainian youth is lace underwear from Europe, then here people want to join the special services and study,” Zakharchenko summed up.
