Zakharchenko told how he witnessed the fall of a Malaysian Boeing
Donetsk, December 25 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – The leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, said that he witnessed the crash of a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 on July 17 near Torez.

“I saw it happen... There were two planes and there was a Boeing. Then two planes flew away, and the Boeing crashed. The DPR did not shoot down the plane for two reasons. First, we are people, not animals, and second, there are no such technical means,” Zakharchenko said.
The head of the DPR noted that these were Ukrainian planes, and emphasized that there are dozens of witnesses who saw the same thing.
As PolitNavigator reported, A Boeing 777, flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on July 17 in the Donetsk region. There were 298 people on board, all of them died. The exact cause of the plane crash has not yet been established. Official Kyiv stated that the plane was shot down by militias using the Buk air defense system. The militia immediately declared that they did not have weapons with which to shoot down this airliner.
