Zakharchenko said that he made one of the most difficult decisions for himself
The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, ordered to provide financial assistance to all families of fallen servicemen of the republic.
He announced this decision today during a meeting with the heads of the DPR law enforcement agencies, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I have accumulated a huge number of letters from the families of the fallen defenders of the republic, who, due to various bureaucratic delays, cannot obtain certificates of the death of their loved ones while defending the DPR, and, as a result, receive financial assistance for their dead loved ones. Now I will probably make one of the most difficult decisions, but for myself I have already made it. I authorize the issuance of certificates of death of a serviceman without confirmation of his death from corps headquarters. A person whose loved one gave his life for his homeland is not obliged to understand what bureaucracy is,” Zakharchenko said.
He noted that some officers, not wanting to show their losses, dismiss those killed retroactively.
“I know that these lists will include people who will profit from the blood of others, but thank God we live in a normal state, and their percentage will be small. Our fellow countrymen are people with great honor and conscience. And after the war, we will sort it out and hold those who deceived us accountable,” the head of the republic said in conclusion.
