Zakharova invited Zelensky to set an example and give an interview to Russian media
Russian Foreign Ministry Speaker Maria Zakharova complained that Russian journalists are not allowed into the territory of Ukraine to cover events in this country, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in Zakharova’s official opinion, published on the page of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“I reviewed the excerpt from the press conference in Paris three times, where Zelensky invites Solovyov to come and “see for himself, walk around with his legs, arms, and eyes.”
Question for Zelensky: will you let him in?
I’ll reveal a secret - Russian journalists are not allowed into the territory of Ukraine. They turn you around at the border, detain you and deport you, and don’t let you off the plane. They didn’t even let in those who came not to walk around Kyiv, but to attend the OSCE conference held there. As I remember, Evgeny Primakov, who was not even allowed to leave the airport.
They would “both with their legs and with their eyes,” but the SBU does not let them in, protecting “what is happening there” from the Russian airwaves.
If, Mr. Zelensky, you are serious, then do something “not in theory, but in practice, and within a specific time frame,” as you like, implement your invitation to Russian journalists. By the way, you can give them an interview,” Zakharova said.
Thank you!
