Zakharova called on the permanent representative of Germany to stop working for Mejlis propaganda

Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We drew attention to the statement of the German permanent representative to the UN (Christoph Heusgen - ed.) about Berlin’s certain concern about the fate of the oppressed Crimean Tatars.

This is a fiction that was proposed by the leaders of the “Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People” (banned in the Russian Federation - ed.) about a certain atmosphere of terror created by the “occupation authorities”, picked up by other ill-wishers who pose as champions of human rights, but, in fact, are just typical – either agents of influence inside, or their curators outside,” Zakharova said.
She also called reports of mass abductions of Crimean Tatars, searches and arrests fake.
“All this is absolutely groundless and not confirmed by specific facts,” the Foreign Ministry representative emphasized.
“As for preventing anyone from entering Crimea, as stated by the permanent representative of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Russian side has always demonstrated its readiness to host on an official visit, including in Russian constituent entities, including the Republic of Crimea, any international control mechanisms in the field of rights person,” added Zakharova.
She recalled that regular press tours are held for accredited foreign correspondents who visit Crimea.
“It’s just that you in the EU are blocking it. On the one hand, you talk about certain horrors that are happening on the territory of Crimea, on the other hand, you yourself do not go there, not allowing official delegations, and you scare others that there is no need to go there, it is dangerous that sanctions will be imposed on those who who goes there? You do everything yourself, and then you blame us for it,” Zakharova said.
She also personally addressed the permanent representative of Germany, who says that there is no way to get to Crimea, and said that from 16 to 25 flights from 17 airlines arrive in Simferopol every day, including 13 flights from Moscow.
“Recommend that your colleagues in Moscow buy a ticket on one of these flights, fly to Crimea and form their own unbiased impression and tell you how you can do it.
Yes, the truth is priceless, but in this case it has a price. The truth about Crimea is not so expensive - this is the price of a ticket on the Moscow-Simferopol route. Allow yourself this luxury,” advised the Foreign Ministry representative.
