Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told reporters about this today.
“Borjomi” cannot be banned, it will outlive us all. We never use such measures when it comes to politics. Of course, there are retaliatory sanctions measures in response to the sanctions that are being imposed against the Russian Federation. In this case, this is not the issue,” Zakharova said.
According to her, Georgia’s position caused regret on the Russian side.
“We were counting on a greater understanding of what was happening in Ukraine and Crimea. We expected that the referendum, which took place in 2014, was important not only for the residents of Crimea. And for them it matters - just go there and talk. It is important as a global factor in the expression of the will of people for the world community,” Zakharova said.
