Zakharova harshly ridiculed Sobchak
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova laughed when asked to comment on presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak's statement that she had asked the Ukrainian Embassy in Russia for permission to enter Russian Crimea.
According to the diplomat, this reminded her of the incident with US President George W. Bush, who at the UN Security Council wrote a note to his adviser Kandolisa Rise asking for permission to go to the toilet.

“Everyone asks permission on an issue that they consider relevant,” Zakharova said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Sobchak stated on the radio station “Echo of Moscow”, that he will go to agitate the Crimean Tatars on the peninsula only if he receives permission from the Ukrainian authorities. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin called her statements “political schizophrenia.”
In addition, Sobchak admitted with regret that she would immediately give it away Ukraine is unlikely to succeed in Crimea, and therefore additional work will be needed in this direction.
