We visited prohibited sites - the SBU announced the exposure of the latest “Kremlin agents”
The SBU reported on the exposure of a “network of agitators” consisting of two people who, through social networks banned in Ukraine, allegedly provoked users to mass unrest.
The speaker of the SBU in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Igor Volovik, said this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, the “agitators” were planning riots for Constitution Day, which is celebrated in Ukraine on June 28.
“These are two residents of the Dnepropetrovsk region, they worked on banned Russian social networks and provoked Ukrainian Internet users to riot on the Constitution Day of Ukraine. On instructions from representatives of the special services of the Russian Federation, they distributed specially prepared materials on social networks that were adapted specifically to the residents of our region. Over the past month, they have been directing their efforts to provoking mass crime and public order during the celebrations for the Constitution Day of Ukraine,” said the SBU representative.
“During the investigative actions, computer equipment that was used for this work was seized from them, instructions were identified that were specially developed and provided for distribution to bypass prohibited social networks and Internet sites,” Volovik said.
