“GRU fighters” captured in the LPR were exchanged for captured Ukrainian security forces

“Two Russian military men, “GRU special forces soldiers” Captain Evgeniy Erofeev and Sergeant Alexander Alexandrov, were exchanged for Ukrainian military men held captive by the self-proclaimed LPR and DPR,” the publication writes. – A source in Russian law enforcement agencies reported this to Gazeta.Ru on condition of anonymity. Alexandrov’s lawyer Konstantin Kravchuk confirmed to Gazeta.Ru that the exchange actually took place. The Russian Ministry of Defense does not comment on this information. Other details of the special operation have not yet been disclosed.”
“They were exchanged for several people, among whom were both Ukrainian citizens and citizens of other countries who fought for the Ukrainian side. I’ll only add that our guys were subjected to cruel torture in captivity,” says the newspaper’s source.
The publication also reports that information about the exchange was confirmed by a high-ranking source in one of the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
At the same time, on the air of the 112 TV channel, SBU press secretary Elena Gilyanskaya said that this information is not true, and both detainees are in Kyiv, investigative actions are being carried out with them.
