NATO 155 mm caliber Ukrainian Armed Forces shells hit the very center of the city, including the Covered Market in the central Voroshilovsky district.
One of the shells destroyed a bus with passengers.
According to the Donetsk administration, six people are currently known to have died and six more people were injured. Electric transport services have been suspended.

According to the JCCC of the DPR, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked from positions in Netaylovo, Orlovka and Ozaryanovka.
