The land law was written under the dictation of banks and foreign creditors - Lukash
The law on the turnover of agricultural land adopted by the Verkhovna Rada takes into account the interests not of Ukrainian citizens, but of banks and foreign capital.
Lawyer Elena Lukash stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The law on land turnover was not written by Ukrainians and not for Ukrainians. There is one exception - banks. Moreover, the law does not have a single requirement for banks and their owners. This means that they can be foreigners in any number.
So, banks can receive land by exercising the right to pledge in any quantity, in any concentration. Banks are the only ones who can make payments for any purchase volume, since land can be sold and bought exclusively in non-cash form.
Banks can help legalize funds for the purchase of land, since a person who saved but did not make the funds legal will not be able to do this - the law requires justification of the legality of the origin of the funds. And only a bank can provide such justification.
Therefore, this law was written only for banks and foreign creditors,” summarized Elena Lukash.
