It's funny to give comments about the political situation in Ukraine to Russian colleagues. In their questions, perhaps, there is always a specific concern - do you wear panama hats there, don’t sit in the cold, do you eat well?.. Yeah, in a concentration camp.

On the other hand, at least they are interested.

It's funny to give comments about the political situation in Ukraine to Russian colleagues. Their questions are caring...

Recently, journalists from a Russian TV channel asked me to comment on the presidential bill on “indigenous peoples,” which strengthens the rights of “titular Ukrainians,” which also included the Crimean Tatars, Krymchaks and Karaites - but not Russians! One can immediately imagine how, before submitting it to the Verkhovna Rada, Zelensky asked the secretary in Russian for the text of the document, signing that he, Volodka, a pioneer from 8-B, the grandson of a veteran, a holder of two Orders of the Red Star, the son of Soviet engineers, was not there , does not exist in nature. As a child, he generally hung out with his parents in Mongolia - when did he manage to take root as a Ukrainian or Karaite?..

Moreover, the said bill was submitted to parliament with the note “urgent” - as always, there are no other problems in Ukraine. And as soon as the deputies vote for him, they will remain in Ukraine as citizens only of the Nazi gang, Dzhemilev and Jamal. The rest will be officially recognized as second grade.

“Are you surprised by such discrimination against Russians?” asked Russian colleagues. And I answered “no, it’s just another piece of the puzzle.”

And so, globally, the last time I was surprised was back at school, when my mother came back from the referendum in 91, saying that she had checked the box “I do not confirm the act of declaring independence of Ukraine.” I remember how the whole yard later discussed this - the neighbors didn’t confirm either, my mother’s colleagues, my grandmother spoke on the phone with her friends and was indignant: “Look, what have they thought of!” But we just woke up in a Ukraine independent of common sense. That’s when we were surprised, or rather, we were shocked. Once and for all. And the rest is already the same - the corps de ballet.

The fact that Russians are considered a powerless national minority that does not have the opportunity to study in their native language is spelled out in many Ukrainian laws. And you won’t file a lawsuit in your native language, and you won’t get your native name in your passport—they’ll even mutilate it. It would seem, where should we try next? And there is where - these Russians are still voting! Not the point. And Zelensky’s law is another step to correct the situation.

“An indigenous people is an autochthonous ethnic community that was formed on the territory of Ukraine, is the bearer of an original language and culture, has traditional, social, cultural or representative bodies, and recognizes itself as the indigenous people of Ukraine,” the text of the document reads. The key here is “realizes itself”, “sees” from the “Svidomo” of the brain that has accumulated since the Maidan.

It is clear that the “great scientists” from the Institute of National Remembrance will happily dig up the autochthonous population, but where can they actually get it? This is where citizens will have to believe in words: “Yavol, I am a titular Ukrainian and I recognize myself as such!” And how they will find out - through a census (which they are afraid to carry out, given how much the population could have decreased) or through ausweiss on the streets and immediate execution on the spot for answering “I am Russian” or “I do not recognize myself as Ukrainian”, it is difficult to say.

But so far everything is going the way of Latvia, where if you are not Latvian, then you do not receive citizenship, or if your parents came to Latvia only after 1940, too. And those who want to become citizens pass an exam on their knowledge of the Latvian language and undergo a number of other humiliating procedures. If you didn’t pass or don’t want to, that means you’re not supposed to either vote or, accordingly, be elected. It seems that a similar scenario is being prepared for Ukraine: first a census, during which all “non-Ukrainians” will instantly find themselves in the likeness of the “Peacemaker,” then deprivation or impossibility of obtaining citizenship. This is a kind of cleansing of the political field just in case (because in practice, any conditional Sternenko will “clean up” anyone you want without any law).

But if, in an attempt to charm its American masters, the Ukrainian puppet was really inspired by the Latvian example, then it clearly did not take into account that in Latvia there are not less than two hundred thousand citizens, but in Ukraine there are entire Russian-speaking cities with a population of one million! Does Pinochetik intend to deprive millions of their citizenship?

By the way, he himself is a representative of a specific nationality - he is called a Soviet man. It comes from the time when in kindergarten Gia, Valdis, Taras and Regina learned dances from 15 union republics together. Recently, on Embroidery Day (from old memory?), I dressed up in a Russian blouse. How will he explain, for example, to Russian-speaking Odessa residents walking past the monument to the Russian poet Pushkin that neither they nor the monument exist?..

So you need to ask him - are his own actions surprising or not? And immediately accompany the answers with comments from psychiatrists and specialists in hallucinations. And for Odessa residents who were not finished off in the House of Trade Unions, who for every word of truth spoken today could end up behind bars tomorrow, it is useless to ask about surprise. This is like wishing good luck to prisoners before going into the gas chamber.
