In Ukraine, they are trying to pass off filing a lawsuit against Russia at the International Court of Justice as considering the issue at the Hague Tribunal.

Elena Dyachenko, director of the Party in Power consulting company, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, who said that the Ukrainian lawsuit looks “quite strange.”
“Moreover, three years after the Revolution of Dignity, Ukraine has not been worthy of ratifying the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, which has jurisdiction over war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity, which should supposedly be discussed in the filed lawsuit. Instead, we went to the general court, which is also located in The Hague. And for some reason, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is speculating that this is supposedly the Hague Tribunal,” Dyachenko noted.
“Why the criminal regime of Yanukovych did not ratify the Rome Statute is understandable, but why the democratic regime does not ratify it after the victory of the revolution of dignity is unclear. Are we really afraid of accusations of committing international war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity?” the expert is perplexed.
She also recalled that Ukraine officially appealed to the Council of Europe and abdicated responsibility for compliance with the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights in Crimea and Donbass.
“But after a year and a half we go to court that human rights are not protected there. This is another absurdity contained in the lawsuit filed with the International Court of Justice. Yes, today the Ministry of Justice has filed several lawsuits with the European Court of Human Rights, but they relate to the protection of specific rights of specific individuals. We have not yet filed a single claim against the state of the Russian Federation regarding its actions in 2014 in any international court,” Dyachenko emphasized.
As PolitNavigator reported, Kyiv put the judges in an idiotic position in the hague.
