Deputy Lutsenko will go to Switzerland for “Yanukovych’s gold”
Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko plans to send his deputy to Switzerland in the near future to clarify the situation with the seized 460 kg of gold, allegedly belonging to one of the members of the entourage of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych.

He said this at a briefing after a meeting with the families of the dead Euromaidan militants, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the department’s press service.
“Switzerland confirmed to us that this gold had indeed been discovered. After this, we cannot yet restore contact with our Swiss colleagues. I plan to send my deputy there in the near future to clarify the situation,” he said.
At the same time, Yuriy Lutsenko refused to comment on the information who owns the seized gold in Switzerland. Previously, the Prosecutor General complained that Ukraine and Switzerland had “lost contact” on this issue.
