Deputy Parubiya: we will begin dialogue with Donbass only after Russia recognizes itself as an “aggressor”

“I don’t consider this process Ukrainian. It sounds absurd when the Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories denies the very fact of occupation. This is weird. The Ministry today is pursuing a policy that this is not an occupation, there is no occupier there, but there are simply good people there who you need to love, with whom you need to be friends and talk, and everything will be fine. This is wrong,” she says.
According to her, the ministry, first of all, should think about internally displaced persons and those people who remained in the uncontrolled part of Donbass.
“I have to think about how to preserve the state. It's like an infection on the skin that you want to contain so it doesn't spread further into the skin. I have to treat it and only after its localization will the body be cured. And the task of the Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories should not be to deny the fact of occupation, but to have a policy regarding internally displaced persons,” says Syroed.
The vice-speaker notes that those state authorities that today talk about dialogue deny the presence of Russia on the territory of Ukraine. The raw foodist considers this “high treason,” and dialogue with uncontrolled territories can only begin after Russia recognizes its presence in Ukraine.
“If Russia admits that it is an occupier, then we can start talking to both Russia and the occupied territories. And then we will talk about reality. And if we talk about reintegration today, it means that we recognize the internal conflict and that Russia is a peacemaker,” she asserts.
