Deputy Parubia proposed enclosing Donbass with ditches and walls
Ukraine must refuse to implement the Minsk agreements and isolate the territory of the Donbass republics with a strictly controlled border that excludes any movement of people.
Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, deputy from Samopomich Oksana Syroed stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, Ukraine does not have a proactive position. Repeating for three years that there is no alternative to the Minsk agreements is no longer even perceived by the most loyal people. It is clear that three years was a sufficient period to formulate its position.
The alternative is simple and complex at the same time. I believe that we must isolate ourselves from enemy-occupied territory, while taking away our people who have Ukrainian identification. In fact, this should be a controlled territory, like on the border, which should be under the strict control of Ukraine. There must be ditches, walls or something else, but there cannot be any free movement,” she said.
Meanwhile, some deputies of the Verkhovna Rada stated thatofficial Kyiv needs to start a dialogue with the republics of Donbasswho elected their new leadership.
