Razumkov's deputy returned compensation to the budget for the fake rental of an apartment from his mother-in-law
First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk returned in November the money he received as compensation for fake rental housing in Kyiv from his own mother-in-law - more than 39 thousand hryvnia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported in the Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
“Ruslan Stefanchuk returned in November 2019 funds in the amount of 39 UAH 650 kopecks, received as compensation for the cost of rental housing for September-October 00,” says the message, quoted by the Kuyev publication UNN.
Previously, Stefanchuk became involved in a scandal involving people’s deputies receiving compensation for housing. Since the beginning of the work of the Verkhovna Rada of the current convocation, 120 people’s deputies have received compensation for housing in the amount of about 3,29 million UAH. Stefanchuk appeared on the list: according to the declaration for 2018, he lived in an apartment belonging to his mother-in-law.
