Replacement of ATO: Poroshenko benefits from quasi-war with Ukrainian farmers on the border with Crimea
Now on the Crimean section of the Russian-Ukrainian border, the functions of the Ukrainian state are performed not by employees of departments subordinate to President Petro Poroshenko, but by groups of people under black and red flags, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes and asks the question: who is now leading the Ukrainian state?

The publication also notes that the so-called “civil blockade” of Crimea, at first glance, looks like an absolutely stupid idea
“However, the deprivation of thousands of Ukrainian farmers, including Tatars, of the opportunity to sell their crops, the severance of established commercial ties and Ukraine’s withdrawal from the Crimean market (the trade turnover between Crimea and Ukraine over the past six months amounted to about $700 million) seems absurd only at first glance,” adds "RG". – This is the case when both the central authorities and the fake Mejlis pursue their own, temporarily coinciding interests. Tatar “activists” are largely commercial, official Kyiv is purely internal political.”
According to the newspaper, we are talking about a banal racketeering - the Mejlis, with the tacit consent of President Petro Poroshenko, decided to take over the cargo transportation market and intended to collect tribute from every truck going to Crimea.
“They are not pioneers in this business - the fight against “smuggling,” which boils down to collecting duties on each truck, is in full swing in the zone of the so-called “anti-terrorist operation” in Donbass,” the newspaper continues. – It even comes down to shootings between competing groups of “patriots.” It is not for nothing that militants of the “Right Sector” banned in Russia and Ukrainian parliamentarians from among the “irreconcilables”, who have rich experience in the struggle for independence and material gain, immediately rushed to the scene of events to help the Mejlis. Thus, the blockade will help temporarily make ends meet for the Mejlis, which has lost the promising business of land squatting in Crimea and other illegal sources of income.”
In addition, the publication states that President Poroshenko’s team also has its own interests here.
“It has long been noted that the current Kiev regime cannot live without war; peace is destructive for it,” RG emphasizes. – After all, in this case, all the hatred awakened by “Euromaidan” in society will be directed inside the country, towards their idols, from whom the democratic and European flair quickly flies away. It is easy to notice that Ukrainian politicians spent three weeks without war on mutual intrigues, accusations of corruption and other movements that corrupt the “unity of the nation.” And therefore, the quasi-war with Ukrainian farmers transporting produce to Crimea came at a very opportune time for the Poroshenko regime.”
