According to the publication “Dnepropetrovsk. Comments,” the remaining places on the list were taken by lawyers, volunteers and Maidan participants in Dnepropetrovsk, whose names are little known to the general public. At the same time, the party does not intend to field its candidates in majoritarian districts.
Let us remember that in 2006 and 2007 Oleynik was elected to the Verkhovna Rada on the BYuT list. In September 2010, together with several other colleagues, he was expelled from the BYuT opposition faction for supporting the pro-government parliamentary majority led by representatives of the Party of Regions. In the 2010 local elections he ran for mayor of Dnepropetrovsk, but lost. “Ukraine of the Future” promoted 39 deputies to local councils at various levels in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the parliamentary elections in the fall of 2012, he was number one on the party list, but the political force did not overcome the 5 percent barrier, and Oleinik did not get into the Verkhovna Rada of the XNUMXth convocation.
