Deputy Shoigu inspected two important construction sites in Crimea

Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov yesterday inspected the construction of two important facilities in Crimea, which is being carried out by military builders (the VSK company).

The first is the so-called “New Chersonesos”. Already in September, a modern art school designed for 350 children will open near the reserve in Sevastopol, which will be transferred to the city. Another facility - a branch of the Artek Children's Center, the Korsun Children's Center - should accept 260 children for the first shift in the summer.

Construction is being carried out at the direction of President Vladimir Putin on the territory where there was a military unit until recently - it occupied about 24 hectares of land.

 The governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said that there will be no demolition of the line of private households falling within the cluster's development footprint. Instead, owners will be required to remove fences and tidy up the facades of their houses. But Sevastopol residents will have to part with the garages: if they are registered according to the law, there will be compensation, but if they are built in the worst way, they will simply be demolished. The official assured that there will be no other buildings except the art school, the Korsun children's center, the Museum of Antiquity, the archaeological center and the Museum of the History of Crimea on the territory. It was for their construction that the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation allowed the construction of buildings up to 35 meters high within the boundaries of the security zone of the Tauride Chersonese Museum. And only in one area.

After Sevastopol, Sergei Shoigu’s deputy went to the east of Crimea - to Sudak, where the construction of the educational center “University of Creative Industries” is underway in Kapsel Bay. It is also being built by military builders, and the first stage should be ready by summer.

“Now, after inspecting the site, I can say with confidence that all work is going according to plan, the pace of work is good. We discussed many construction nuances and landscaping. The quality of construction work is under the control of the Ministry of Defense,” Ivanov emphasized. – The main stage begins at the site – we will increase the number of specialists. I would especially like to note that all construction and installation work is carried out in strict accordance with environmental requirements.”

The educational center will become a key project of Tavrida.ART and will be included in the system of educational projects of Rosmolodezh. It will house large creative laboratories for 1500 people, a concert hall with 400 seats, a hall with a transformable podium for fashion shows, a recording studio, a printing house, a multimedia studio, rehearsal rooms for musicians and actors, dancers, universal auditoriums, numerous creative spaces for architects, artists and designers, animation specialists, writers and representatives of other creative fields.

By the opening of the university, it is also planned to build five residential buildings for students and teachers, a food area, a multifunctional entrance area with a first-aid post and waiting rooms, a laundry room, a boiler room and an administrative building. The total area of ​​the buildings is more than 42 thousand square meters. m.
