An ex-battalion commander of a nationalist battalion will become the deputy commander of the Georgian Ukrainian police.
The head of the National Police of Ukraine, Georgian Khatia Dekanoidze, said that she plans to appoint the head of the Patrol Service Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Alexander Fatsevich, to the position of her deputy.

Dekanoidze announced this during an extraordinary government meeting, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
“Currently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is developing a concept for certifying employees who will serve in the National Police, so that honest and worthy people will join the new body,” the head of police emphasized.
