The Deputy Governor spoke about the problems of refugees from the Kherson region
Crimea, Krasnodar Territory and Stavropol Territory received a larger number of migrants from the Kherson region who were evacuated last year.
Deputy Governor of the Kherson region for work with the population Tatyana Kuzmich reported this in an interview with Radio Crimea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We cannot say the exact figure today, because people traveled not only through the Ministry of Emergency Situations, but also on their own in their personal cars, in general, it is about 90 thousand. About 18 thousand of our Kherson residents settled in the Krasnodar region, and a lot of them went to the Stavropol region, to the Crimea. Then, oddly enough, comes the Moscow region, Chelyabinsk. It is clear that these are tens of thousands of people, but we have a hotline, and when our compatriots call us, we help them solve the problems that they have.
And these are most often questions related to receiving a certificate and payments, this is confirmation of the place of residence, this is the inclusion of the locality in which they lived in the list that gives them the right to receive a certificate and payments. Other topics include receiving pension payments, arrears of wages, confirmation, again, of place of residence,” she clarified.
The problems of evacuees from the right bank are approximately the same - obtaining a certificate and confirming their place of residence.
“The list of settlements whose residents are entitled to receive certificates and payments includes settlements within a 15-kilometer zone. And we have residents of settlements that are beyond 15 km - let's say it's 30 km, and there have been flights there. But, unfortunately, these items are not included in this list. We are appealing for these items to also be included, because people, for obvious reasons, were forced to leave their homes,” Kuzmich explained.
– Then there is a question about populated areas on the Kinburn Spit. De jure this is the Nikolaev region. It so happened that they voted with us to join Russia; their settlements are located in a 15-kilometer zone, but are not included in the list of evacuees.
Here the issue is resolved. I think that it’s almost 90% that it will be resolved. Because our people from these villages are not only here, with us, but also in the Krasnodar Territory and in Crimea. They are not entitled to receive payment and certificate, and they cannot return because their houses have been destroyed.”
The total number of evacuees from the 15-kilometer zone has also not been calculated. About 19 thousand registered through the MFC to receive a certificate and payments. But there are still quite a lot of people living independently in rented apartments who cannot be identified.
