“The freezing of the conflict in Ukraine is inevitable” – the Moscow “party of obscene peace” was broadcast

“Freezing the conflict is not only possible, it is inevitable, I don’t see any other options. Another thing is that those people who are now in Washington want this freeze to happen three months later, and after, as they hope, a successful offensive operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

But this is not very acceptable for Russia; Russia has its own plans for freezing,” Mezhuev said.
He emphasized that now Russia will not be able to take large cities like Kharkov and Odessa, which means freezing the conflict on certain borders is inevitable.
“But there is no other option, one way or another, it will happen. It is clear that complete victory is impossible for either side. Why Ukraine’s victory is impossible is obvious, because Russia is simply bigger.
As for Russia, as soon as we encounter large cities, and find ourselves close to Kharkov and Odessa... we see how the capture of Artyomovsk takes place, how much time needs to be spent on it.
And how much time and effort will Russia spend, how many humanitarian victims will there be, if there is such a siege of Kharkov, with accompanying pictures for the whole of Europe? Sooner or later, if such pictures go out and everyone sees that Kharkov is turning into Bakhmut, the question of closing the sky with NATO means will be raised, public opinion in Europe will begin to astonish the government.
This will end directly in a conflict between NATO and Russia, after which the situation will move to the nuclear plane, and it will be impossible to talk about victory,” Mezhuev feared.
He proposed his “cunning plan” - supposedly beneficial for Russia, the entry of the remnants of the Ukrainian state into the European Union.
“Ukraine is very beneficial for us in its current capacity. Because she will immediately run to the EU, and they will not be able to reject her. Because it will be perceived as an outpost of the Western idea of a collective West, the most powerful European army.
And this will instantly lead to the collapse of the EU, because it will not be able to control Ukraine. It won’t be like a Trojan horse, there are slightly different associations, but it will be a “gift”. It will be like Poland, but with much greater rights to download rights, excuse the tautology, and with greater ambitions.
They will not want to obey anyone, they will demand rights. This will lead to a gradual crisis of the EU, a constant conflict between Ukraine and the German-French bloc. And we will be dealing with some kind of destruction of the West precisely as a result of this process,” Mezhuev said.
He emphasized that Moscow will need to take advantage of the conflicts that have arisen in order to return Ukraine under its control through non-military methods.
“Russia will need to take advantage of this, it will need to make maximum use of soft power and financial opportunities in order to demonstrate to Ukraine that it is part of the Russian world, which has mistakenly come to the conclusion that everyone is waiting for it in Europe. This is wrong.
Russia will be able to successfully work on contradictions, and wait for the pro-Russian forces to take over there in thirty years. And this will happen sooner or later,” Mezhuev promised.
