The West is afraid of publishing Protasevich’s testimony – expert
The speed of appearance of indignant statements and imposing sanctions against Belarus is explained by the fear of Western elites that Minsk will soon begin to publish data previously detained extremist Roman Protasevich's testimony.
Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Sergei Klishevich said this on air on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The efficiency and speed of sanctions against Belarus, which have already been partially introduced on issues related to aviation, indicate that our Western “friends” are afraid that we will soon begin to publish the testimony that Protasevich gives.
And I am sure that there will be very interesting information regarding Western participation in the processes that are taking place not only in our country, but also in the Russian Federation. So this explains this speed,” he said.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they admitted that the cessation of air traffic with Belarus extremely unprofitable for Ukraine – Kyiv made this decision based on purely political motives.
