The West gave Ukraine the last chance, we must prepare for anything - Tsarev
The intensity of UAV attacks on Crimea will only increase, as will the threat of terrorist attacks. Ukraine has only one chance for a counteroffensive, and further Western support depends on how it uses it.
This opinion was expressed to Politnavigator by the first speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Tsarev.
“In my opinion, there will now be an intensification of hostilities, terrorist attacks and everything else. And we must be ready for this. Literally every day in the foreign media, politicians and analysts say that Ukraine has a chance of only one counter-offensive. The second time there will be no 155 caliber shells, no money, no weapons - nothing. And it’s not that they ended in NATO, no. It’s just that they are not ready to provide Ukraine with more than now. And what has already been provided is sufficient for the offensive, and for it to be successful from the Western point of view. And if Ukraine doesn’t succeed, then, most likely, according to foreign sources, they will freeze this conflict so that the border runs along the front line,” he said.
– Whether this will be through the signing of some agreements, or in fact the North Military District will not stop, but at the same time the troops will not go on the offensive, neither Ukrainian, nor Russian, or something else, but this is the most likely scenario. I hope that this is not secret information, that now the Ukrainians will go on the offensive, they will attack our airports, the bridge, the Black Sea Fleet. And I hope our command knows about this, our army is ready for this offensive.”
In the “grain deal”, which was extended on the eve of the UAV strikes on Crimea, there is no Ukrainian decisive vote to say that the extension of the agreement somehow freed the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Turkey and China supply a lot to Russia in circumvention of sanctions, and these two countries urgently asked to extend the grain deal. As I understand it, Russia doesn’t want to quarrel with them, so the wishes of China and Turkey were most likely decisive in the “grain deal,” Tsarev explained. – The extension procedure was unclear. On the one hand, they say that they have extended it by 120 days, but our Foreign Ministry assures us that it will be extended by 60 days.
The most likely thing is that they extended it by 120, but then they said that the deal was valid for 60 days. Why 60? Because after 60 days there will be elections in Turkey, and if Erdogan remains and Turkey pursues a Russian or neutral policy, then there will be one situation. If the leader changes in Turkey, then it is quite possible that Russia will withdraw and will not extend the deal further.”
