The West is preparing to deceive Lukashenko, like Yanukovych
Before entering into any agreements and enlisting support from the EU, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko should remember how a similar situation ended for his Ukrainian colleague Viktor Yanukovych in 2014.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Oleynik stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Lukashenko is so weak today that he could most likely lose power if he gets his bearings wrong. Signing agreements with the West is, in essence, playing by their rules. The agreement itself is not even worth the ink with which it is written, not even worth it!
We signed a “wonderful” agreement in 2014, three foreign ministers blessed it, and the European Union blessed it. And then they replayed everything.
In the Dorogomilovsky court in 2016, when I filed an application there to establish the fact of a coup d’etat, I interrogated Yanukovych and Klyuev (the head of the administration) and asked: “What is the fate?” They say: “Well, the agreement was written perfectly.” The first is early elections in December (well, why not wait for February-December), the second is a change in the Constitution, which was requested. But the third point was the most terrible - to find out who shot on the Maidan and by December the American special services would have definitely established who was involved, our militants and so on, and the Americans carried out the coup.
And Yanukovych says: “We fulfilled our part and began to withdraw law enforcement agencies from the Maidan and they began to seize government buildings.” And so on. I pick up the phone and start calling, and Andrei Klyuev confirmed that they are looking for Steinmeier and Sekorsky, the phones are not answered. And on the second day their statement: “You know, everything is correct! Well done!”, but before that they said: “God blessed the agreement.” This is from the evil one,” said Oleinik.
“Therefore, you can’t trust them, they play by their own rules, we need to change the rules! We must attack, and eventually realize that they are advancing along the entire front. They took Belarus, they will take it if we don’t do anything, they took Moldova, the Baltic countries, Kazakhstan are next in line. They are shaking up the situation in Russia, don’t we understand this?” – added the ex-deputy.
