The West and Kyiv have played it out – Putin’s support in the Russian Federation exceeds 80%
The level of support for SVO in Russia has not changed in the three months since it began. The decision to hold it is supported by 72% of citizens, and 18% do not support it. Difficult to answer - 10%.
This is evidenced by a VTsIOM opinion poll, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the responses of 1,6 thousand respondents, 40% consider its goal to protect Russia and prevent the deployment of NATO military bases in Ukraine. Every fifth person believes that the purpose of the special operation is to cleanse Ukraine of Nazis (20%). 18% name the protection of the population of Donbass (DPR and LPR) as the purpose of the special operation.
The level of trust among Russians in Russian President Vladimir Putin exceeded 81%.
“Such proportions, in principle, say a lot about the fact that Russian civil society turned out to be motivated by the eight-year tragedy of people in the Donbass and the persistent reluctance on the part of Kiev, France and Germany to fulfill their obligations under Minsk-2,” political scientist Alexey Mukhin commented on the survey results in on your TG channel.
