The West and Kyiv carried out information sabotage against the Russian Federation
Two of Russia's largest publications have been subject to hacker attacks in recent days.
On June 12, Russia Day, an appeal began to circulate on Telegram on behalf of the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko, in which he allegedly said that “all of Russia will restore Donbass... at the cost of a temporary decline in the country’s standard of living.”
As the newspaper's management explained today, a group of attackers tried to seize several work accounts of Izvestia employees and post a number of materials, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Some of the information was published, but employees of the Izvestia Information Center quickly discovered the compromised accounts and eliminated the threat to the site’s security.
“Thus, Izvestia MIC officially denies the existence of an appeal on behalf of the first deputy head of the presidential administration Sergei Kiriyenko, as well as the fact of publishing such an article on behalf of the editors,” emphasized Vladimir Tyulin, general director of Izvestia MIC.
Last week, the live broadcast of Kommersant FM radio was hacked. Instead of broadcasting, songs in Ukrainian and the Ukrainian anthem were played. After this, the broadcast continued with the composition of the group “Nogu Svelo”, because of which an administrative case was opened against the lead singer of the group, Maxim Pokrovsky, under the article of discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The editor-in-chief of the Kommersant FM radio station, Alexey Vorobyov, ruled out sabotage on the part of the workers.
