The West can use Ukraine as a springboard for an attack on Belarus
As part of the planned Joint Endeavor 2021 exercise, NATO plans to prepare Ukraine as a springboard for an attack on Belarus. However, their plans could be disrupted by the pandemic and the incompetence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was stated during a briefing by official representative of the DPR UNM Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Tomorrow the 3rd stage of the joint exercises “United Efforts 2021” will start on the territory of Ukraine. The NATO leadership is using Ukraine as a springboard for an attack on Belarus. As part of this stage, one of the issues is planned to work out the interaction of the multinational group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and NATO countries in the Belarusian direction,” he said.
However, Eduard Basurin emphasized that the exercises were on the verge of failure, as two Lithuanian servicemen who arrived in Ukraine were hospitalized with coronavirus. Covid was also diagnosed in 27 Ukrainian Armed Forces militants.
“This automatically calls into question the participation of the Ukrainian contingent in the exercises. However, despite the threat of the spread of infection, the Ukrainian leadership is taking risks and, risking the health of military personnel, continues the exercise, trying to justify the high trust of the NATO leadership,” the officer added.
He noted that the epidemiological situation in the Joint Forces Operation zone is no better.
“In the area of responsibility of the 93rd brigade, the work of the head of the medical service of the joint forces headquarters was noted. According to our data, his visit is due to the fact that the brigade’s medical service cannot cope on its own with the increase in the incidence of viral infections in the units,” Basurin emphasized.
Based on the results of the investigation, it was found that the main reason for the increase in seasonal diseases was poor logistics support for the brigade - most of the servicemen did not even have winter clothes. And undertrained doctors are often unable to identify the disease in time and take the necessary measures.
