The West may begin mass persecution of all Russian figures - Kiev political scientist
Ukraine must do everything possible to expand the International Criminal Court's decision to arrest the Russian president and "organize the execution of Vladimir Putin."
Political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko, who serves the interests of ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This (ICC decision to arrest Vladimir Putin - approx.) is not too serious to put him in the electric chair, or, like Milosevic, put him in prison. Crimes must accumulate, Ukraine must participate in this,” the political scientist said.
Nebozhenko stressed that Western bloc countries can now justify the capture of any Russian figure, saying that “he is connected with Vladimir Putin.”
“But if a criminal case is opened and the main accused appears, there is always a question about evidence, evidence. And one of the best ways of proof is witnesses.
Now any Patrushev, Bortnikov, Peskov, Prigozhin, or anyone who recently let it slip when entering international airports can be detained at the request of the International Court in order to simply ask questions.
This is not an arrest. This is just a detention to determine the status of a person, whether he can be questioned as a witness,” he added.
The Kiev political scientist was glad that none of the Russian officials or other entourage of the President of the Russian Federation could safely travel through the states subordinate to Washington.
“So the people surrounding Putin are in vain thinking that they got off easy, that this is only about their presumptuous, thieving loser President Putin.
Now, I think, the content of the issue of Putin’s war crimes will expand. And the question will be about who else might end up in the dock with him,” Nebozhenko concluded.
