Gazprom's partners in Nord Stream 2 include Shell, Uniper, Wintershall, Engie and OMV.
“The parties agreed that half of the project, worth €9,5 billion, would be financed in equal shares by Western companies in the form of loans, and the other half by Gazprom, which would remain the sole shareholder of Nord Stream 2,” the publication writes.
The newspaper recalls that contracts have already been concluded for Nord Stream 2 for the supply of pipes and laying lines across the Baltic Sea.
“The next key point, obviously, will be obtaining permits to lay a gas pipeline in the waters of Sweden and Denmark,” the publication notes.
